Standards Code

The Impress Standards Code is a modern Code that aims to assist journalists by promoting and supporting their work. It also aims to protect the public from invasive journalistic practices and unethical news reporting.

Your Harlow

Established in July 2013 via a grant from the Carnegie Trust, we are a multi-award winning on-line newspaper for the town of Harlow in Essex. We publish 4,000 stories a year and our work has been featured on Sky, BBC and major papers. Our aim is to celebrate the good news and the hundreds of activities, groups and initiatives that thrive in Harlow as well as scrutinise and challenge. Our editor Michael Casey also appears in the media as a passionate advocate for independent journalism.
