The Impress Standards Code is a modern Code that aims to assist journalists by promoting and supporting their work. It also aims to protect the public from invasive journalistic practices and unethical news reporting.

News and events from around the Clyde sea lochs; we aim to produce journalism which safeguards and enhances the area’s environment and services, as well as recognising and supporting the achievements of residents and businesses. The site is edited by Julian Calvert, formerly a newspaper editor in England and Scotland, and was set up in 2012.
