The Impress Standards Code is a modern Code that aims to assist journalists by promoting and supporting their work. It also aims to protect the public from invasive journalistic practices and unethical news reporting.

The Bellman is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation made up of volunteers working towards creating an effective online newspaper for Stonehaven. Our purpose is to advance citizenship or community development through representing and promoting the news, interests, and amenities of the community in Stonehaven, South Aberdeenshire by providing a free digital news website.
