Salamander News

Salamander news is a digital news outlet for Lewisham and neighbouring boroughs in south east London. We publish free, independent, public interest community journalism covering social justice, climate and nature. Local news has collapsed over recent decades; research has shown that this damages community cohesion and erodes trust in local democracy. Lewisham has been identified as a "news desert". Our news outlet begins to address that. We are a community benefit society and a co-op.
