The Impress Standards Code is a modern Code that aims to assist journalists by promoting and supporting their work. It also aims to protect the public from invasive journalistic practices and unethical news reporting.

Eastleigh News

Eastleigh News is an independent hyperlocal community news website and is a member of the Independent Community News Network (ICNN). We are funded by Google News Showcase via Ping! News. We have been reporting news from Eastleigh, Hampshire, an area with a population of 136,000, since 2009. All contributors are unpaid part-time volunteers. The editorial team are trained journalists.
