The Impress Standards Code is a modern Code that aims to assist journalists by promoting and supporting their work. It also aims to protect the public from invasive journalistic practices and unethical news reporting.

Dorset Eye

Dorset Eye is an independent non-profit news website co-founded by Debbie and Jason Cridland in June 2012. With absolutely no financial backing or outside investment, we have rapidly built a media outlet from scratch through determination in our progressive values and engaging content. We remain completely independent of any advertisers, funders, companies, political organisations, or political parties. None of these will ever determine content. Our content focuses on news and ideas in their many facets. From local community issues and occurrences to national and international submissions.
