Back in 2005, a handful of media types decided to get together and explore what we saw being heralded as ‘new media’ in a fun, inclusive, irreverent, incisive, and expansive way. In the process, we wanted to champion some of the lesser-known stories, groups, people, and events. Along the way we’ve held musical events, podcasted, organised film festivals, conducted email campaigns and social media’ed.
All this with a social enterprise ethos that champions communication, inclusion, and participation. We publish the PRSD (the People’s Republic of South Devon), D&CFilm, and ArtsCulture.
