New Members of Impress Committees Appointed

We are delighted to announce several new appointments to our independent committees across the organisation.  

These committees provide crucial advisory support to Impress staff and the board and perform key functions for the organisation, particularly maintaining the integrity of the Impress Standards Code.  

New additions have been made to the Code Committee, the Business Development & Communications Committee, and the Finance & Audit Committee.  

Joining the Code Committee will be Katy Searle, former executive editor of BBC Politics, Veronica Gordon CEO of Our Version Media, Shirish Kulkarni, a journalism research fellow, consultant, speaker & community organiser, and Dr Sulayman Bah, a lecturer in Professional Academic Development, Legal Foundations, Dissertations and Media Law. 

Completing the new appointments are Theo Luke, and Liam Corcoran, who will join the Business Development & Communications Committee and the Finance & Audit Committee. 

Theo recently led the International Content Partnerships team at X (formerly Twitter) having previously held management positions at YouTube, The BBC and Syco Entertainment, while Liam has held pivotal roles at tech giants like ByteDance and First-Party Data providers like Dynata currently works as a Fractional Executive, providing strategic guidance to new businesses, helping them navigate the complexities of growth and expansion.
